From the early childhood she was connected with the food. Everything she knows about cooking she learned from her mother and grandmother. She likes getting back to the roots and those familiar scents of the homemade bread and cream cheese.

Ana is an avid reader and food lover in a constant seek to try some new flavors and spices. She especially likes unusual food combinations and fusion cuisines which is influenced by her parents-mother from neighboring country Bosnia & Herzegovina and father from Slavonija.

Oliver, a culinary enthusiast and former food truck owner, brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to his tours. His background in traditional cooking and love for experimenting with new recipes makes every stop an adventure in taste.

Wonderful afternoon in Dubrovnik

Food and Wine tour: We had 3 couples in Dubrovnik for a day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed Drażen’s tour. He is a young guy who introduced us not only to the food and wine of his city, but also to the history and culture. It’s a beautiful walled city and the food is excellent. We visited in November, so it wasn’t too crowded or hot and we all want to return. Thank you Dubrovnik Food Story for an excellent experience!

Fantastic day trip. We went in late October and it was amazing. Beautiful food, wine, views, and company. We got to
see this beautiful country and get out of the Old City for a day. Highly recommend.

Fantastic event with local family

This event was spectacular. I cannot recommend enough. The host was super hospitality, treating us to classic sweets and drinks on arrival. We got a tour of an amazing home site that has been in the family for generations. We helped make bread and prep for the meal. But the family did most of the work and the food was special. Homemade cured meats, cheese and bread. Lentil soup was incredible. And fresh local fish cooked over fire with potatoes was wonderful.

Make sure to experience this because you will not regret it.

Delicious oysters, wine, and peka!

We just completed a 10-day trip to Croatia and our excursion with Dubrovnik Food Story was one the of the highlights of our trip! We sampled fresh oysters straight from the bay, toured wine caves and sampled local wines, and the traditional meal we had for lunch was one of the best meals of our trip. The cherry on top was our tour guide, Oliver, who was friendly and knowledgeable. It felt like we were spending the day with an old friend. Definitely recommend!

Great food tour of Dubrovnik

We did the tour with Drazen and he was a fantastic guide, sharing his knowledge of food and local history in Dubrovnik.
We sampled some amazing traditional food and visited some excellent local restaurants. It was a great afternoon and we left feeling very full!

Fantastic, personal tour for foodies and to get to know Dubrovnik

We had an absolutely wonderful time with Marija and our your group. My husband and I only spent 1 full day in Dubrovnik, and decided this was the perfect way to spend it! And we were right! It’s a fantastic way to see the culture and history of Dubrovnik in a smaller group than other walking tours, plus all of the fantastic food was absolutely amazing! If you’re only there for a short time and want to taste a host of delicaces and treats, this is the tour for you! Again, our guide Marija was absolutely wonderful and we could not recommend this more highly!

Incredible local experience

This is a one of a kind experience I would give 6-stars if I could. Katerina and her family have a beautiful farm/homestead we toured as we picked/collected most of the ingredients for our meal. The class was extremely well laid out and kept everyone engaged in our group which varied in age from 20’s (newlyweds) to 70’s (retired). The food was great, the setting and experience were even better.

Wonderful food and wine in Dubrovnik

I didn’t realize how crowded Dubrovnik is in August. There were *masses* of people everywhere. This tour was a great break from the crowds. We had a small group and went to four different restaurants that were a bit off the beaten path. We were able to enjoy excellent food and wine at places we would not have found on our own. Our group of four presented some interesting dining challenges as each of us had somewhat different restrictions on what we could/could not eat. No problem – this was handled quite well and we all got to try foods that worked for us while sampling each restaurant’s specialties. Dražen was a terrific guide and shared his perspectives and recommendations throughout the tour. Highly recommend.

Wonderful evening of cooking!

A great way to spend our last night in Croatia as a family. We had a wonderful time with our small group, loved spending the evening with the Mujo in their 15-generation home, and enjoyed a delicious feast. Our 4-year old daughter was included in all the activities, including the responsibility of preparing dessert, making it great for our family. Highly recommend this experience for a chance to get away from the crowds and take in the countryside.

Go for it!

We had an exceptional day with our very friendly and knowledgeable guide, and just two other adventurers. If you’re debating about whether the specifics warrant the cost, don’t! It was worth every euro! This is the perfect way to leave the Dubrovnik crowds behind for a day, and to see the surrounding countryside and small villages. It’s an excellent excursion.

Nice escape from the typical touristic places

The whole experience was very nice. It started with a very well organized (and friendly!) pick up service that brought us directly to the villa where the experience took place. We spent a beautiful afternoon with Nike. From making bread, picking vegetables from the garden, helping to prepare a nice meal, milking a goat, having the opportunity to taste homemade liquors… and ending with a nice dinner prepared partially by ourselves.
Great experience you should not miss! Highly recommended!

Just simply amazing

What an amazing afternoon with Anna. So interesting and she really knows her good and wine. My daughter is a
vegan so thought it was going to be difficult for us to join us – but Anna had made arrangements and needless to say not one of us was disappointed.

5 star experience!!

The most amazing experience!! The hosts welcomed us with open arms made us feel apart of their family and culture. Greeted with homemade liqueurs and a tour of the grounds. The class was wonderful and we even learned some Croatian cooking tips to bring home with us! Definitely recommend this experience to all it was the highlight of our trip and you will have stories for a lifetime!!
